Impact

Mission River's Founder, Michael J. Armbrust birthed Mission River in 1998. With the goal of facilitating missional

church growth both locally and abroad. In 2012, Mission River organized itself to serve and fulfill the Great Commission. In

2013, Mission River expanded its purpose and mission who are the people who are close by but different. Some

theologians theorize that this will be the next great wave of missional activity to usher in the return of the King.

Mission River participates in missions and church growth, realizing that God uses churches to reach and bring

people into His family effectively. In addition, our “Mission Directors” have multiple degrees, an area of study, in ministry,

and entrepreneurial business, to position us with the abilities to accomplish the task before us. Namely, to create a

missional movement and to reach the mission field that Christ has brought to our local doorsteps and who has opened the

doors to missions abroad.

Mission River desires, by His grace, to become a premier provider of missional activity, education, motivation, and

impact. Reaching the people who are different but close to us with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. The Lord has

brought to our doorsteps, people from closed nations, like the 10/ 40 window. Mission River desires to create and implement

a strategic plan that harnesses and releases the power of people in the local church, faithfully reaching people from the

nations abroad who live locally among us for His glory.
